The artwork was then used to co-create an animation with LGBTQIA + asylum seekers, which was projected at the Bedlam Festival 29th November 2024 at the Rep in Birmingham.
I helped with emotional mapping workshops with The Journey LGBT+ Asylum Group where we explored ideas of identity and well-being. The workshops were held at the MAC in Birmingham. The artwork that was created was a response on their journey in the process of seeking asylum in the UK. We explored how to observe and identify our emotions, pathways to emotional stability and how to find safe spaces and allies.
