Gate Theatre is a diverse international theatre which represents diversity. So I worked on this idea of openness, and made it colourful.
The theatre had some rebranding with new font, colours and a slogan; and used them so there is coherence to the identity. I put the logo on the cover and extended the backdrop of the logo to the back page. The slogan was used in a repetitive style. This was done on the inside front and back cover. I also added to the borders of all information pages, so there is some contrast to the dullness of text.
I integrated the artwork of each event into the layout of the brochure. The posters are collages, and so there is an organic feel to the layout.
I feel the end result was vibrant organised-chaos.
